“Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 Lens (Black)”:: I have this unit for more than five (5) years, and I love it. I never had any problems with this unit and it is performed amazing. I took about 50,000 photos with my Rebel and it is always good. I have the same original batteries I had with my camera. My batteries are always take some time before being recharged again took, if I shoot sports and I could use a battery for all day. Canon's products have high quality is what youwith a name brand can expect the Japanese electronics company. Canon lenses are so fantastic, I have the high quality goods 50/1.4, 85/1.8 portrait, mid-tele 70-200/4.0, 100/2.8 macro and the amazing wide-angle L 17-40 . These lenses are all provided fantastic on your Rebel, and you can be sure that it forms a complete range of Canon products to your needs. The only drawback of these products is that they are very expensive.

As regards the rebel, the onlyComplaints that I have are the following:

The first level of noise at ISO 1600 images generally unnecessary.
2nd AF system is not robust enough for sports, and you can do, but it's hard.
The third handle, a bit small, can take getting used to.
The fourth camera can not be too many high quality RAW or JPEG images in succession (important for the sport).

In general, this camera a dream for most people is used. Eight MP you high qualityPrints. If you're blowing your photos up to poster size of this device for you.
